What we do not collect

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The salary, tax code, KiwiSaver rate and other values you enter are not sent to us or to anyone else, are not stored on a server and are not linked to you. There is no account, no newsletter and no form that collects personal data. If you use the share link, your inputs are written into the page address, and only the people you send that address to can see them.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted by GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages). Like any web server, the host records technical data for each request, such as the IP address, the page requested, the date and the browser type, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Audience measurement and advertising

No analytics or advertising script is active at the moment. If we add audience measurement, a notice will tell you before it runs and let you refuse it, and the cookies page will list what is set. Your choice is stored in your browser only.

Your rights

New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020 and, since the publisher is established in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation give you rights to access and correct any personal information we hold. As explained above, we hold none from the calculators. For any request, write to contact@nzsalary.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand or to the French supervisory authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
